Wonderful location , views amazing and the apartment was very spacious and clean. A lovely complementary breakfast at the Beachcomber cafe was unexpected but greatly appreciated. I would not hesitate to return.

We spent a lovely holiday here during the Spring Bank Holiday week. The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious. We had lovely views of all of the seafront, across to Shaldon, the harbour and right up the estuary towards Newton Abbott. We had our elderly parents with us, so, having a lift and the apartment being on one floor was just perfect for them, and when they didn't want to go out they were quite happy just sitting on the balcony. It stretched around the apartment and meant they were able to watch the world go by. The kitchen had everything we could possibly have wanted in it - there was nothing we could think of that wasn't provided. We had no hesitation in booking straightaway for a second trip this summer.

Our family (husband, me, two boys aged 6 and 4) have just returned from a wonderful week staying at the Riviera Apartments and straight away all four of us are keen to re-book for next year.

Teignmouth is a lovely, unspoiled family seaside resort but it was everything about this penthouse accommodation that made the holiday really special. The apartments are spotlessly clean, comfortable, modern, and have everything we could have asked for – thoroughly deserving of its 5 star rating. The beds are the best we have ever slept in!

The location was perfect for us, a one minute walk to the beach, seafront, play park areas, and town centre. Five minutes walk to the railway station which we made use of, in fact we would think about leaving the car at home next year to travel entirely by train.

We stayed in apartment 1, which we chose primarily for its position as it gets the best of the afternoon and evening sun and has stunning panoramic views looking out to sea and across to Shaldon. There were 2 evenings where the weather allowed us to sit outside on the never-ending balcony for our evening meal and stay there until long after dark enjoying some adult time and a few drinks.

For families with babies and toddlers I would find it hard to imagine anything better than this – staying in during their daytime sleeps would not exactly be a hardship here! In good weather some sunbathing on the balcony would be lovely. And just to add that the balconies here are incredibly safe for young children.

For 2 nights we had adult guests who used the sofa bed. This was entirely manageable for a short break, but if there had been 6 people for the whole week I think the extra bedroom and bathroom that comes with apartment 5 would have been our choice. The only other slight negative was that the supplies of toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets were not very generous, but other than this I cannot find any fault at all.

The Beachcomber café is a sister company of the Riviera apartments, and this also comes highly recommended. We had full English breakfasts on several mornings, and also some lovely sandwiches and chips at lunchtimes.

Thank you for looking after our needs so well.

I took my wife and 2 year old to stay in the Riviera Apartments. We had a great week. I have been holidaying in Teignmouth for many years, so when I saw that these apartments had been completed I couldn't wait to try them out. We were not disappointed in any way. The penthouses are done beautifully, with top class finishes. The beds were really comfy, TV with blu ray player was an added bonus (especially in October in Devon) but the best of all for us was the views. I was happy sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine enjoying being so high up and a panoramic view of Teignmouth. I have since booked for my parents who have spent a week and we are now arguing as to who gets to go back first!!

What a find !! Our family - a mixed bag ranging from 12 years to 88 years booked for a short break early September. As soon as you walk into these stunning apartments you realise you are going to have a good holiday even if it's raining !! The apartments are spotlessly clean with good quality fixtures and fittings, and very comfy beds. There are floor to ceiling patio doors/windows surrounding two sides of the apartment which gave it a lovely light airy feel coupled with great views over to Shaldon and The Ness. Another bonus was the decking terrace surrounding the apartments which we used a lot for eating outside, or just chilling in a chair and watching Teignmouth on the move. Location is fantastic with the beach and town just a minute away. When somebody raves about somewhere I always ask them the question "would you go back"? We have already booked for next year.

We spent the Scottish half term here and it was well worth the long journey. The property is located on the sea front and our apartment (number 1) had fantastic views of the public parks, pier, sea and Shaldon. It is accessed by a small lift and there is off street parking within a two minute walk. It felt very secure. The apartment is finished to a high standard and has everything needed. The lounge is spacious and comfortable and the balcony has a table and chairs, as well as a sun lounger (but it was too cool for us to use!). Highly recommended.

We stayed at the apartments in penthouse 3 at half term (23 -30th october 2011) with our teenage daughter and my elderly parents.

it was immaculately clean and warm. The views were spectacular and in view of the mixed weather we had it was still lovely to sit in the apartments and enjoy the view. The bedrooms and beds were lovely, spacious and comfortable. Kitchen well equiped and with excellent modern facilities .Emma our contact was more than helpful and even managed to give us a little leway with our departure time.

location excellent although a little patience with parking is needed as often there isnt a space in which you can leave the car indeffinatley until after 6pm (when one of us would pop out and move it).

Fantastic friendly Italian restauratn 'the colosseum' nearby and Mccools fish and chips !

A very handy coop is near the apartment and Teignmouth has lots of lovely bakers.
Was well worth paying a little extra for an apartement of this standard and outstanding views.
